Eco Tours

Welcome to Eco Tours!  Over the next few months we will attempt to grow this site into a resource for all of your eco tour needs.  If you are looking for ways to enjoy the outdoors without destroying our environment hopefully we can help.

Looking back over the past month since I started this site without a clear focus on how it would turn out, I have concluded that this site will continue to be a photo blog of my outdoor activities.  The term “ECO TOURS” is sort of a loose term on this site, generally it means just enjoying the outdoors while attempting to be nice to our environment.  My tour of Jamaica is a good example of a 7 day “Eco Tour” however it took 6 hours of riding in a jet each way to get there– the jet part is really not environmentally freindly!

Most of the places that I take pictures of on this site are within 30 miles of my home in southern MA and since I don’t bike down the highway, I’m burning fossil fuels to get there.  Hopefully the readers of this site will find some fun outdoor activities to do while browsing through the pages of this site?  Oh well, at least I am able to document my trips, travels and my low impact tours of all that nature has to offer me and my kids.

If you see any pictures that you like, feel free to shoot me an e-mail for more photos.  Generally I will take 100′s of images of a tour and only publish 3-4 on this site.  Trying to balance a good amount larger resolution pictures and keeping the page load times down is really a challenge!
