While taking some pictures of a waterfall in Rhode Island I noticed that the little pond next to the falls was full of Mallard ducks and Canadian Geese that had no interest in flying away.  Even when I got down to the edge of the pond just a few yards away from them they just swam around putting on a show…..it was their bath time.

Bundled up in cold weather gear I sat next to the water watching a few Mallard ducks swimming around in search for some tasty seaweed.  After a few minutes they warmed up to me and came within a few yards, every time I moved quickly they prepared for flight.

Ducks, swans, random park birds, it doesn’t matter, I love taking pictures of birds.   Granted the park birds will do tricks for food scrapes but the swans take some time before they stop hissing when my camera is a few feet from their face.  These area a collection of photos that really didn’t fit into any of my other blog posts so I am just putting them here as a group.
